Warren Wilcox

Warren Wilcox is head of Visa’s Global Advisory Services group which contains Visa’s econometric, client business analysis and consulting functions.

Prior to joining Visa in early 2008, Warren spent 25 years in the U.S. credit card and banking industries. Most recently he was Vice Chairman of Providian Financial Corporation (which was sold to Washington Mutual in 2005). His career also includes executive management positions with Fleet Financial Group, Household International, Atlantic Financial and Citigroup.

Warren is also a Director of Encore Capital Group (NASDAQ: ECPG). He has an MS in Management degree from Purdue University.


Harry Gambill

Harry C. Gambill served as Vice Chairman of TransUnion’s Board of Directors until October, 2008. From 1992 through 2007, he was the company’s president and chief executive officer.

Harry joined TransUnion in 1985, holding several positions, including senior vice president – Marketing and Analytics, regional vice president and vice president/general manager.

Harry received his Bachelor of Science in business administration and economics from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark., in 1968. He served many years on the board of the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA), including two terms as chairman. Currently, Harry sits on several public and private boards.


Norman "Norm" A. Willox, Jr.

Norman "Norm" A. Willox, Jr. is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Critical Information Network (CiNet), where he oversees the company’s strategic growth and development.

Norm is also a Partner (operational) for the Comvest Group (Comvest), a private investment firm, located in West Palm Beach, FL.

Norm has spent the past 25 years managing information businesses in risk markets, most recently as the CEO of LexisNexis Special Services Inc. (LNSSI). In this position he was responsible for leading the government business unit within LNSSI, including all sales, product development and policy application for the management of government information solutions. Prior to leading LNSSI, Norm served as Chief Officer for Privacy, Industry and Regulatory Affairs at LexisNexis, where he oversaw all domestic privacy and policy-related.

Norm has committed a substantial part of his business career developing, managing, selling, buying and incubating business assets for the Fraud, Abuse and Risk Management markets.

Norm is a trusted resource to national and international law enforcement organizations on topics like fraud, identification authentication, national security, and privacy. Norm was personally rewarded when he had the opportunity to support society post-9/11 to combat Terrorism, Human, Arms & Narcotics Trafficking, Cybercrime and Child Abduction. He currently serves as a board member with ALI Solutions and InfoZen, Inc., and is the Chairman of the Center for Applied Identity Management Research (CAIMR).

Norm received his undergraduate degree in Public Administration and from West Chester University. Norm has received extensive post-undergraduate certifications and training in the insurance, banking, law enforcement, government, and industrial markets.


Daniel N. Duncan

A seasoned executive in the credit and collection industry, Daniel Duncan brings nearly twenty years of experience to his role as founder of ALI Solutions. Dan was the driving force positioning the company as a leader in the collections and credit-related analytic decisioning market. After founding ALI Solutions in 1992, Dan also founded and served as CEO of Advanced Call Center Technologies, where he successfully raised start-up capital for this receivable management company and expanded the business to over $15 million in revenue before its sale a few years after inception. Prior to these entrepreneurial endeavors, Dan served as Vice President of Credit Risk Management at Chase Manhattan Bank where he was instrumental in increasing Chase's credit card portfolio to the second largest in the industry. He has also held leadership and executive positions at Household Card Services and Citicorp Credit Services where he managed multi-million dollar vendor relationships, credit policy, back office operations, and direct marketing programs.

Dan holds a bachelors degree in economics from Columbia University.


W. Thomas Smith, Jr.

Thomas Smith is a founder of Total Technology Ventures. He retired from IBM in 2000 after 30 years of service. From 1996 to his retirement, Thomas served as Vice President, Small and Medium Business, IBM Americas. Prior to that, he was the Southern Area General Manager appointed in 1986, with responsibility for IBM's sales, marketing, and services business for thirteen states. His community affiliations include the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta as Board Chairman for 1998-99, Central Atlanta Progress, the Carter Center, and the Woodruff Arts Center. He received the Armin Maier citizenship award from the Atlanta Downtown Rotary Club in 1998. Thomas earned a B.S. Degree in industrial management from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 1969 and completed the executive program at Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School of Business in 1986. In addition, he received his "Certificate in Data Processing" from the Institute for Certification of Computer Professionals. Thomas is currently on the Board of Directors of ALI Solutions, E-Duction, e-Wise Systems, Green Dot Corporation, IP Commerce Company, Microbilt, Serious, Inc. and Silverpop Systems, Inc.


Benedict Rocchio

Benedict joined BVP in 2000 and concentrates on investments in the Business Services sector, with an emphasis on financial services and information services. Benedict is a current member of the board of directors at ALI Solutions and a board observer at SnagAJob.com. He has also worked directly with 13 other investments of Baird Private Equity, including HireRight, Axcelerant, Encover, NimbleGen Systems, and Payroll Associates. Prior to BVP, Benedict worked for KPMG LLP in the information, communications and entertainment group within the assurance practice of the Chicago office, where he focused on clients in the software and telecommunications sectors. He received his BBA, with a major in Accountancy, from the University of Notre Dame. Benedict is a member of the Executive Committee of the Illinois Venture Capital Association and co-chair of its Marketing & PR Committee.


Lon H. Chow

Lon Chow is a general partner with investment focus in enterprise infrastructure, applications, and services. Prior to joining Apex, Lon was a partner with Mercer Management Consulting (formerly Strategic Planning Associates), where he developed and implemented growth strategies for clients in computing, media, and telecommunications industries. He also held various operating management positions with Pacific Telesis. Lon received an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from the University of California, Davis.


Benjamin H. Malka

Ben has a deep understanding of the financial services industry. For almost two decades, he has helped companies specializing in financial services, consumer products, information technology, and marketing automation prosper and grow. Before joining North Hill Ventures, Ben was a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on serving financial services corporations and companies that supply them with critical infrastructure components. His consulting engagements included strategic alternatives analyses, product development studies, and merger and acquisition evaluations. Earlier in his career, Ben also worked as a consultant at McKinsey and Company.

Ben holds an M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in Quantitative Economics and Political Science from Stanford University.


Thomas J. Miller
President and Chief Executive Officer

Tom Miller is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ALI Solutions, bringing more than 20 years of consumer risk management and predictive analytic experience. Since joining ALI in 1996, he has provided risk management consulting and collaboration for dozens of ALI Solutions customers, published several thought leadership articles in leading industry publications and has presented a variety of topics related to risk management and analytics at industry conferences.

Tom has served many roles and responsibilities over his tenure at ALI. Most recently he held the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development where he had responsibility for managing the company’s product strategy, marketing and strategic partnerships. Prior to that, he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

Tom came to ALI Solutions from Chase Manhattan Bank N.A., where his most recent position was Vice President, Bankcard Credit Risk Management. In his tenure at Chase, he managed customer credit policy development and implementation for its bankcard and unsecured lending portfolios.

He received an MBA from New York University, Stern School of business and a B.S. in Commerce/Finance from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce.
