Description

Identification of “at-risk” customers early and cost effectively.

Pre-delinquency management has become an important topic for today’s consumer finance companies. Risk executives are looking at how best to segment, monitor, optimally contact and take preventative actions with their at-risk or potentially delinquent customers. The key to success hinges on their ability to identify problem customers before they emerge and become obvious and apply effective treatments on an individual basis. This session focuses on the early, accurate risk detection of pre-delinquent at-risk customers coupled with effective treatment policy and multi-channel contact execution. Those companies that can first identify credit problems, identify issues earlier than their competitors and have the ability to not only access risk but act quickly will have competitive advantages in obtaining scarce payments and will be best situated when the business cycle changes. Through proactive efforts, lenders and receivable managers can reduce exposure/balance build on accounts, begin addressing outstanding assets while there are still more options available and be more responsive to customer needs. Participants will learn about new innovations and approaches being used to optimize the early risk detection and loss mitigation processes more efficiently and effectively.
