Letter from the CEOMay I present ALI Solutions. Yes, we have changed our name from Austin Logistics, Inc.Changing our name is serious business. Nobody lightly gives up name equity that has come to stand for the very best – in our case, the very best in predictive analytics in consumer credit. But change is indicative of the times. In fact, change has already occurred. We became ALI Solutions in many ways well before we validated it with today’s announcement. Most of you have called us “ALI” all along. Most of you have long looked to us for “solutions” of many kinds – combinations of adaptable software, advanced analytics and deep domain expertise. And it has frankly been a while since “logistics” accurately described where we specialize. So our name change to ALI Solutions™ is somewhat predictable, you might say. More notable may be our new corporate tagline: Dynamic decisioning unleashed™. A good tagline doesn’t need parsing and we think ours is perfect for our company, but because it is more than just words – it is who we aspire to be for our stakeholders – I would like to take this opportunity to explain: Our expertise is pre-emptive risk and collections management, where our solutions help companies manage risk and optimize collections across the consumer credit life cycle. “Dynamic” reflects the changing landscape of consumer risk today and the flexibility of our applications. Data must be recent and often refreshed, analytics must leverage combinations of accounts, transaction activity and non-traditional third party information. However, even the best analytics in the world are powerless if they do not guide the right decisions and actions. Our solutions help drive risk and collections “decisioning” which in turn enables our clients to more profitably interact with their customers. There is un-tapped power in every bit of information in every one of your databases. But there it remains until it is combined with expertise in the form of solutions (analytics, software, and best practices) and hence it is “unleashed” upon your customer management strategies.
